Dr. Reem Saadeh

Dr. Saadeh spent much of her childhood through high school living in Greece, surrounded by monuments of the ancient world and the pillars of modern medicine including as the ancient Greeks termed “genetikos”.  It is there where she drew much of her inspiration to pursue a career in medicine.  She obtained her B.S. at Georgetown University in Washington DC followed by her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine.  She went on to complete her internship and residency in Pediatrics at New York University Hospitals, where she was awarded Resident of the Year.  Dr. Saadeh continued her training by completing a 3 year Clinical Genetics fellowship for children and adults at Johns Hopkins University, where she was awarded the Margaret Nielson Fellowship award.   

Dr. Reem Saadeh is a board certified medical geneticist.  She has spent her career as a clinical geneticist at Johns Hopkin’s Sibley Memorial Hospital and as an Associate Professor at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital.  Dr. Saadeh is regularly invited to lecture and continues to dedicate her time to transmit her love of genetics to medical students and residents, including as a co-director of the medical genetics course at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. More recently, she was awarded Washingtonian Magazine Top Doctor 2020.

Dr. Saadeh began her tele-genetics practice during the Coronavirus pandemic when the need for virtual consultations and evaluations began to escalate. The demand continues to grow.  Dr. Saadeh holds medical licenses to serve patients in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. 

Dr. Saadeh lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and four children.  When not working she can be found chauffeuring her four children from one activity to another.
